How AuraPharm works

GenAI understands natural speech. Plain, tested rules make every safety decision. The person stays in control in between.

    Speak

    Mrs. Chan speaks naturally in Cantonese or English — or types.

  2. Step 2

    GenAI extraction

    The model turns her words into a fixed JSON schema. It may leave fields empty; it may not diagnose, advise or decide.

  3. Step 3

    User confirmation

    She sees every field, corrects mistakes and confirms. Nothing unconfirmed is saved.

  4. Step 4

    Deterministic rules

    Plain code compares the confirmed record with the fictional care plan. The highest-severity rule wins.

The AI may

  • Turn spoken or typed words into the fixed fields
  • Leave a field empty and add a warning when unsure
  • Restate already-approved care-plan text in simpler words (optional)

The AI may not

  • Diagnose, triage or judge clinical risk
  • Prescribe or change medication
  • Set the status, contacts or escalation route
  • Save anything without the user's confirmation

Rules in the fictional care plan

Rules are data, evaluated in order; when several match, the highest severity wins. Each result records the rule ID and reason.

Not clinically validated. Every threshold, term and message here is a fictional placeholder. A clinician or qualified partner must review any real rule set.

Current mode

Simulation · no model call

Simulation: stored fixtures for the demo scripts and a simple pattern parser for other text. No model is called.

Privacy and safety in this alpha

  • Only fictional people and records. No real patient data.
  • In Simulation mode nothing is sent to a model. Only your browser's own speech service may hear you.
  • A model key stays on the AuraPharm AI relay and never enters this app. If you paste your own key for a demo, it stays in this browser and you can forget it.
  • The relay does not write transcripts or health details to its logs.
  • Model output is schema-checked and treated as untrusted data, never as instructions.
  • Alerts and calls are simulated. Nothing contacts a real person.
  • Legal, privacy, security and clinical review are required before any real pilot.

Limits of this version

  • Data lives on each device. What you record is kept in this browser only. Elderly and Caregiver modes share it only when they are opened in the same browser, which is fine for a one-phone demo. Sharing between phones would need a server that stores care data too. That is a next step and is not built yet.
  • Voice needs https; typing works everywhere. On an address that is not secure, the microphone is blocked and only typing works.
  • Check-ins, alerts and reminders run on the device only while AuraPharm is open, on Hong Kong time.
